He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, as well as the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers. He is also an Associate Member of the Certified Pension Institute and he holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Ladoke Akintola University.

A versatile player in the insurance industry and had a stint in all key sectors of the insurance industry - Broking, Marketing, and Underwriting. His insurance career started in 1989 at Guinea Insurance Plc as a Life Consultant and later was redeployed to the Underwriting department. He also worked in other companies in various capacities. The companies include Oriwu Insurance Brokers, Unity Life Fire Insurance Pic, Trans African Insurance Brokers where he was the General Manager/CEO, and Prestige Insurance Brokers Limited where he rose from the position of Deputy General Manager to Managing Director before joining Trustville Insurance Brokers as the Managing Director/CEO.

He has attended various specialist courses in Aviation, Oil and Energy Insurance.
